What is Prompt?

“Prompt” is just the technical name for the text you send. There’s no magic formula, but a few habits help a lot:

• Say who it’s for and what it’s for.
• List what it needs to include.
• Say what should not change or what stays out.
• Ask for one thing at a time.

A vague prompt, like “make a sales app”, forces the AI to guess almost everything. A specific one, like “a form to log sales with date, product and amount, and a list with the month’s total”, leaves little to guess.
