What is GitHub?

GitHub works like a vault with a history for your source code. Every change is recorded, and you can go back to any version.
Lovable, Bolt and Replit offer GitHub integration. It isn’t required for your first app, but it’s a good idea to connect it once the project starts to matter to you: that way a copy of the code exists outside the tool.
It’s also the most common route when you want a programmer to help with the project.
