What they do, what you need to start and where to go next. - [Getting started with Grok Bot, step by step](https://vibecodezero.dev/grok-bot/getting-started/): How to set up Grok Bot from scratch, with no coding. Check your access, install the app, sign in, meet your first Bot and give it a first task. - [16 practical tips for using Grok Bot without coding](https://vibecodezero.dev/grok-bot/tips/): Practical tips for getting good work out of Grok Bot as a beginner. How to brief a Bot, save routines, keep approvals and stay safe with logins and money. - [What can non-coders use Grok Bot for?](https://vibecodezero.dev/grok-bot/use-cases/): Everyday Grok Bot use cases for people who don't code. Inbox triage, daily briefings, running a website, routines, research and shopping. - [Case study: building a site with Grok Bot and Claude](https://vibecodezero.dev/grok-bot/case-study/): How this site was built and is run with Grok Bot and Claude Code. Who did what, which routines run on a schedule and what the human still approves. ## Ready-made prompts - [Prompt library](https://vibecodezero.dev/prompts/): 14 prompts to copy, by category. - [Starting an app](https://vibecodezero.dev/prompts/#getting-started): The first request you send to the tool. The clearer it is, the less rework later. - [Changing what already exists](https://vibecodezero.dev/prompts/#changing-things): Small, specific requests that touch one part without breaking the rest. - [Improving the look](https://vibecodezero.dev/prompts/#look-and-feel): Colors, wording, phones and accessibility, no design skills needed. - [Saving information](https://vibecodezero.dev/prompts/#saving-data): When the app needs to remember things: lists, sign-ups, logins. - [Understanding what the AI did](https://vibecodezero.dev/prompts/#understanding): Ask for explanations in plain language before you move on. ## Common errors - [Something went wrong. Now what?](https://vibecodezero.dev/errors/): what to do with any error and the text to paste into the AI. - [My app shows a blank screen. What do I do?](https://vibecodezero.dev/errors/blank-screen/): A blank screen almost always means the app crashed before it could show anything, because of an error in the code. Find the error message the tool shows, copy all of it and ask the AI to fix only that error. - [I clicked the button and nothing happened. Why?](https://vibecodezero.dev/errors/button-does-nothing/): Often the AI draws the button but never connects it to the action it should perform. Tell the AI what you clicked, what you expected and what happened, and ask it to check that the button is connected to an action. - [The AI says it fixed it, but the error is still there. Now what?](https://vibecodezero.dev/errors/ai-says-it-fixed-it/): Say clearly that the problem is still there and send the new error message, if there is one. If nothing changes after two or three attempts, stop, go back to the last version that worked and ask for the change again in smaller steps. - [My data disappeared when I reloaded the page. Why?](https://vibecodezero.dev/errors/data-disappeared/): The app probably isn't saving the data anywhere, or it saves it only in the browser on that device. Ask the AI where the data is stored and, if you need to see it on other devices, ask it to connect a database. - [I ran out of credits in the middle of my project. What now?](https://vibecodezero.dev/errors/out-of-credits/): On free plans, the limit usually resets after a while, so you can wait and keep going. Meanwhile, plan your next requests. Clear requests, one at a time, use less than several attempts to fix something that was poorly explained. - [The published link doesn't show my latest changes. Why?](https://vibecodezero.dev/errors/published-link-out-of-date/): In most tools, publishing takes a snapshot of the app at that moment. Changes you make afterward show up in the preview, but only reach the public link when you publish again, using the same publish button. - [The AI changed parts I didn't ask about. How do I prevent it?](https://vibecodezero.dev/errors/ai-changed-what-i-didnt-ask/): The AI tends to "take the opportunity" to improve other things. Say explicitly what must not change, ask for one thing at a time and, if it already touched something it shouldn't have, ask it to undo only that part or go back a version. - [Could my app be exposing personal data?](https://vibecodezero.dev/errors/personal-data-exposed/): It can, if the app stores other people's data without a login or without well-configured access rules. Before you add real names, phone numbers or addresses, ask the AI to review who can see each piece of information, and test with two different accounts. ## Glossary - [Full glossary](https://vibecodezero.dev/glossary/) - [API](https://vibecodezero.dev/glossary/api/): A standard way for one program to talk to another. When your app checks the weather or sends a message through another service, it is using an API. - [Back-end](https://vibecodezero.dev/glossary/back-end/): The part of the app that works behind the scenes, on a server, where people can't see it. It stores data, checks logins and talks to other services. - [Bug](https://vibecodezero.dev/glossary/bug/): A defect in the app, meaning anything that works differently from what you expected. It can be a button that does nothing, a wrong calculation or a screen that won't open. - [Database](https://vibecodezero.dev/glossary/database/): The place where the app stores information in an organized way, like customers, orders or tasks, so it's still there later and can be seen from other devices. - [Deploy](https://vibecodezero.dev/glossary/deploy/): Putting the app online, at an internet address other people can open. In vibecoding tools, it's usually the "Publish" button. - [Domain](https://vibecodezero.dev/glossary/domain/): A website's address, like yourbusiness.com. You register a domain by paying a fee, then connect that address to your app. - [Front-end](https://vibecodezero.dev/glossary/front-end/): The part of the app that people see and touch, like screens, buttons, text and forms. It runs in the browser of whoever is using it. - [GitHub](https://vibecodezero.dev/glossary/github/): A website where programmers store source code, with a history of every change. Vibecoding tools let you sync your app with it. - [Hosting](https://vibecodezero.dev/glossary/hosting/): The service that keeps your app running on a computer that is always connected to the internet, so anyone can open it at its address. - [Language model](https://vibecodezero.dev/glossary/language-model/): The type of artificial intelligence that reads and writes text, including code. It's the "brain" behind vibecoding tools and chat assistants. - [Local storage](https://vibecodezero.dev/glossary/local-storage/): A space inside the browser where an app can save information on that device. The data is still there when the page reloads, but it doesn't show up on other devices. - [Login](https://vibecodezero.dev/glossary/login/): The step where a person proves who they are, usually with an email and password or a Google account, to access only what belongs to them in the app. - [Preview](https://vibecodezero.dev/glossary/preview/): The version of the app that appears inside the tool while you work. It really works already, but only you can see it until you publish. - [Prompt](https://vibecodezero.dev/glossary/prompt/): The request or instruction you write for the artificial intelligence. In vibecoding, every message you send to the tool is a prompt. - [Source code](https://vibecodezero.dev/glossary/source-code/): The set of text files with the instructions that make the app work. It's what the AI writes when you make a request. - [Token](https://vibecodezero.dev/glossary/token/): A small piece of text that artificial intelligence uses to read and write, usually a chunk of a word. Some tools measure your usage limit in tokens. - [Vibecoding](https://vibecodezero.dev/glossary/vibecoding/): A way of creating software by describing in words what you want while an artificial intelligence writes the code. You test, ask for changes and repeat. ## Optional - [About](https://vibecodezero.dev/about/): who runs the site and how the content is reviewed. - [Affiliate disclosure](https://vibecodezero.dev/affiliate-disclosure/): how the site makes money and how affiliate links are marked. - [Privacy policy](https://vibecodezero.dev/privacy/)
